Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM.
πͺ Front Door Code
Your unique 4-digit code activates at 4:00 PM on your arrival day and remains active until 11:00 AM on check-out day. To unlock: enter your code, then press the check mark on the lower right of the keypad. To lock from outside: press the Yale button.
Early Arrival or Late Departure?
- Early check-in: $50 per 2-hour block β can only be confirmed 24β48 hours prior to check-in, based on whether the previous guest is departing that day.
- Half Day Stay: Check in as early as 6 AM. These can be booked well in advance. Prices vary by season and availability β just ask us for a quote.
- Late check-out: $50 per 2-hour block (subject to next guest's arrival and housekeeping schedule). Must be requested 48 hours prior to check-out.
Request via your booking platform's messaging or Host Store. Heads up: luggage drop-off before 4 PM isn't permitted due to liability.
Parking
Up to 4 cars on property:
- Driveway β 2 cars
- Garage β 1 car (no remote, manual operation)
- Street β 1 car directly in front of the home
Please don't block neighbors' driveways.

Your Home
Five bedrooms, two full baths, and a layout that sleeps 12 β without a single bunk bed.
Primary Suite β King
Ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. Private door out to the pool. Premium bedding, hair dryer, straightener, and blackout shades.
Bedroom 2 β King
Western-themed king bedroom with smart TV. Warm wood accents and stylish western-inspired decor.
Bedroom 3 β Queen
Serene queen guest room with smart TV. Soft linens and calming decor for a restful night's sleep.
Bedroom 4 β Queen
Funky western-style queen bedroom with colorful southwestern decor β usually the kid favorite.
Bedroom 5 β Two Fulls
Two full beds and a flat-screen TV. Flexible space for up to 4 kids or 2 adults.
Living + Dining
Bright, open living with seating for the whole crew, dining for 8 (extra chairs available β message us), a cozy reading nook by the fireplace, and a record player with a curated vinyl collection.
Kitchen
Fully equipped: Keurig + drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, toaster oven, slow cooker, tea kettle, full dishware for 8, wine glasses, cooking basics.
β Coffee Bar
Starter pack of Keurig pods, ground coffee, filters, sugar, and creamer at the coffee station. Bashas' is 4 minutes away if you run out.
π§ Ice
Fridge water/ice dispenser PLUS a portable countertop ice maker β for the margaritas.

Your Backyard Oasis
Fully fenced. Designed to be the reason you don't leave the house.
Pool
Sparkling pool with sun loungers and plenty of Arizona sunshine.
π₯ Heated?
Pool is NOT heated by default. Heating available for $60/night with a 3-night minimum β request 3+ days before arrival. Max 86Β°F. If we can't hit 75β85Β°F due to weather, we refund the fee.
Hot Tub
Heated year-round at no extra charge, set to ~104β105Β°F.
β¨οΈ Tips
Keep the cover on when not in use to maintain temp. If the water gets cloudy, message us β we'll send the team out.
Outdoor Kitchen + BBQ
Covered grill area with gas grill, mini fridge, bar seating, string lights, and a 55-inch outdoor TV for game days.
π§ Grill How-To
Propane tank is under the grill. Backup tank is near the shed behind the pool heater. Grill brush and utensils are kept in the kitchen.
πΊ Outdoor TV Remote
The remote for the outdoor TV is kept on the floating shelf near the fireplace inside the home.
Gas Firepit
To ignite: turn the knob to the left while holding it down, then push the ignition button. Ignore the arrow direction β just hold and press.
Mini Golf
3 holes of putt-putt right in the backyard. Putters are kept near the firepit.
Traveling with Little Ones?
2 Pack 'n Plays (with sheets), a booster seat, toys, books, plastic dishware, outlet covers, and a removable pool fence β just message us before arrival.

House Manual & Quirks
Every home has its personality. Here are ours:
πΏ Shower Controls (Read This)
Primary Suite
The shower handle is REVERSED. Setting it to 'cold' delivers warm water, and 'hot' delivers cold. Known feature, not a bug.
Hallway Bathroom
Pull the knob STRAIGHT OUT (not just turn) to engage warm water. If no water flows, make sure the knob is fully extended.
π‘ Pool Light
Pool light remote is on the wall next to the sliding door. Heads up: the light is sometimes finicky β let us know if it won't turn on.
β οΈ Pool Equipment
Please don't tamper
Don't remove the vacuum skimmer, adjust the heater, or turn pumps on/off. Damaging the system can result in fines.
π Pool Safety
No permanent pool fence, but we can install a removable safety fence before arrival on request. All doors to the pool area have childproof locks placed high on the doors plus door alarms. Always supervise children at the pool.
Section 05
House Rules
All rules are in place to keep our home β and your stay β wonderful. Failing to follow them may result in additional fees.
π€« Quiet Hours: 10 PM β 8 AM
Two non-recording noise monitors are onsite. City of Scottsdale can issue noise ordinance fines up to $2,500.
π No Smoking Indoors
Smoke detection monitors will alert us. Please smoke outside, away from the home and patio. Violation = $400 odor removal fee.
π No Parties, No Events
Maximum 12 guests at any time β booked guests only. No exceptions.
πͺͺ Minimum Booking Age
Primary booker must be 21 or older.
πΆ Pets
Up to 2 dogs welcome with prior approval and a $140-per-pet fee for the entirety of your stay. Please use the designated rocky areas (not the turf!) for potty breaks. The park up the road is a great walking spot. Emotional support animals are welcome too β same guidelines.
π ID Verification (City Ordinance)
Per a new Scottsdale ordinance, all reservations go through verification. After booking, you'll receive a secure link to upload ID β your booking won't progress to check-in instructions until verified. IDs are handled securely.
πΉ Security Cameras
3 exterior cameras: one at the front door, one above the garage, and one on the side of the house. NO cameras inside the home or in the backyard.
